Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families – Nambour QLD is hiring a Personal Carer Domestic for BlueCare Community Care on a casual basis. You will visit clients in their homes, assist with daily activities, and provide domestic support including cleaning, meals and laundry.

Qualifications

• Must have current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
• Roadworthy and insured vehicle (Third Party Property minimum) to use for work.
• Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops etc) for client support.
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients in the community, supporting independence and quality of life.
• Perform domestic duties: house cleaning, meal preparation, laundry and ironing.
• Provide transportation support for shopping and appointments and accompany clients as needed.
