Hawkesbury City Council is seeking two casual Kennel Assistants based in Mulgrave to care for impounded animals, conduct health checks, feed, clean and exercise animals, and help maintain the shelter.

Applicants should have animal welfare passion, experience with impounding premises, and strong communication skills. NSW residence and WWCC are required; background checks may be part of the process.

Competenze

• Cert II or above in animal related study or currently studying.
• Experience maintaining commercial impounding premises.
• Animal handling experience and knowledge of animal behaviour.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Current class C driver licence.
• Right to live and work in Australia.
• WWCC clearance or willingness to obtain.

Mansioni

• Care for impounded animals including health checks, feeding, cleaning and exercising.
• Maintain shelter conditions and assist with daily operations.
• Report health concerns and assist with animal welfare activities.
