Job summary

QuestCare in Canberra is seeking a dedicated Community Nurse for a casual home-visit role serving ACT residents. You will provide clinical support to NDIS participants and aged care clients in their own homes with a focus on safety and person-centred care.

Key duties include continence assessments, wound care, client education and strong clinical governance in line with AHPRA standards. The role requires autonomy, clear communication and compliance with First Aid/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven community nursing experience, especially wound care and continence management.
• Strong communication and education skills for clients and staff.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains compliance with safety, manual handling and First Aid/BLS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Continence assessments and developing management plans.
• Wound care and monitoring for diverse client needs.
• Educate clients and families on safe medication management and personal care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting per QuestCare policies and governance.
