Job summary

Nurse Next Door Hawkesbury Hills is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for casual community care across the Hawkesbury, Hills and Blue Mountains. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing in clients’ homes, helping them live independently with dignity.

Requires 2+ years in community/home or aged care, AHPRA registration, and expertise in wound care and catheterisation. Casual hours with flexibility for weekends and public holidays are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in community nursing, home care or aged care.
• Confident expertise in wound care management and catheterisation.
• Strong clinical assessment and independent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care directly to clients in their homes.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Deliver wound management, catheterisation and medication administration.
• Monitor health, evaluate outcomes and escalate changes to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals and families; maintain clinical documentation.
