Shifts are rotating across days and mornings. Hourly rates range from AUD 33.85 to AUD 47.39, with training provided; applicants must have working rights in Australia.

Job Description

Oaks Broome Hotel is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities now available.

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board!

About the job:

• - Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, andcleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• - Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• - Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• - Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• - Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• - Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details(subject to change):

• - Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• - Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• - Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• - Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• - Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• - Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• - Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• - A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
