Job summary

The Lagoon Street site of Bega Group in the Bega Valley Shire on NSW's Sapphire coast is hiring a Casual Bulk Production Operator. You will support day-to-day manufacturing across bulk cheese, maturation, milk receivals, whey powder, and butter, operating processing equipment, performing cleaning and sanitation, and upholding food safety standards.

Flexibility to work across production areas and shifts, follow SOPs, and contribute to a strong team in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PPT, etc).
• Team collaboration and ability to work independently.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respect and observe the Bega Cheese values and Policies and Procedures. Follow Bega Cheese Standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and operate production lines, troubleshoot and report any issues. Monitor the process and reject non-conforming product.
• Correct sampling and testing of products and accurately completing log sheets.
• Ensure worksite is maintained in accordance with housekeeping procedures.
• Provide training to other employees where required.
