Job summary

Central Goldfields Shire Council in Maryborough, VIC is seeking a Casual Certificate 3 Educator to support high-quality early education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. You will join a team focused on safety, wellbeing, and play-based learning, working under the guidance of the Early Childhood teacher.

Essential are a Certificate III in Early Education and Care, Level II First Aid with Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, and a Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Education and Care is essential.
• Current Level II First Aid Certificate including Anaphylaxis Management and Asthma trained.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Knowledge of Education and Care Services National Law Act and Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality educational programs and care across rooms for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
• Support and deliver play-based learning in a team environment.
• Collaborate with the Early Childhood teacher to promote positive outcomes for children and families.
