Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Cafe Chef to lead daily cafe operations at Warriewood Village, delivering high-quality meals and catering for residents, visitors and guests. You will partner with the Food and Beverage Manager to plan menus, oversee food safety, and ensure exceptional service in a welcoming café setting.

With 5+ years in hospitality, you bring strong food preparation skills, HACCP knowledge and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years' experience within hospitality, catering or food service environments.
• 5+ years' of experience in food preparation, kitchen operations and menu planning skills.
• Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certification and WWCC.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.
• Strong English literacy both spoken and written.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals, café items and catering orders.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard.
• Support the planning and delivery of café services and functions.
• Monitor food quality, storage, preparation and handling procedures.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and participate in stocktakes.
• Maintain efficient kitchen operations and workflow processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors and guests.
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures and report hazards.
