Job summary

The Casual Bus Driver role at Canberra Grammar School involves safely transporting students to and from school, sports venues and excursions throughout the year. You will work as part of a team dedicated to student safety and high standards of conduct.

Applicants must hold a current ACT manual 24-seat bus licence, a Working with Vulnerable People Card, a National Police Check, and full Australian working rights. We encourage early applications.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff.
• A high regard for safety, road rules and regulations
• Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe driving at all times
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• A current and valid ACT Drivers Licence to drive a manual 24-seat bus.
• Appropriate qualifications

• A current National Police Check; and
• Full working rights within Australia.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school, sports venues and excursions.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during all trips.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues.

About The Role

The School Bus Driver safely and reliably transport students to and from school to sports training venues and events, and on various excursions, and activities throughout the school year as required.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff.
• A high regard for safety, road rules and regulations
• Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe driving at all times
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• A current and valid ACT Drivers Licence to drive a manual 24-seat bus.

All team members at CGS are required to have:
