Job summary

026 Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd – Greenacre NSW is seeking an Agi Driver for casual work in the Sydney Metro region. You will drive a concrete agitator truck, meet customers, and be the friendly face of our business.

The role begins early, with most shifts starting between 5–6am, and offers a base hourly rate of 43.35 per hour including casual loading. You must hold an HR licence with driving experience and a current Construction White Card.

This is not just point‑to‑point driving, and no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive local team backed by a leading national company.

What’s the Job Like?

• Location: You’ll be based out of our Sydney Metro region.
• Hours: This is a casual position and most rostered days will start between 5-6am.
• Pay: We pay a base hourly rate of $43.35 (inc. casual loading) on a weekly pay cycle.
• Overtime: Overtime kicks in at time and a half after 8 hours, and double time and meal allowance after 10 hours in a day. - Overtime rates are calculated off our standard rate of $34.68. ($52.02 for time and a half / $69.36 for double time)
• Customer Interaction: Driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You’ll meet lots of different personalities every day, so being comfortable with new people is a must.
• Training: All new hires go through a 10‑day training program with our experienced driver trainers before hitting the road solo.

About You:

• Licence: You must have a minimum of an HR licence (essential) with previous HR driving experience (preferred).
• White Card: You will have a current valid Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one before you start.
• People Skills: You enjoy meeting people and having a chat when you’re onsite.
• Variety: You prefer variety in your work. No two days are the same when you’re driving one of our Agi trucks.
• Pride in Your Ride: You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keeping it clean and presentable is important—you are a mobile billboard for our company.
• Medical Check: Able to pass a pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites).
• Safety: Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may need to be under a specified weight for these trucks.

• Base hourly rate of $43.35 per hour inclusive of casual loading + penalty rates + allowances + super.
• Company Uniforms and PPE are supplied.
