Job summary

Feros Care is seeking a Casual Aged Care Community Support Worker to help older Australians remain independent and connected in their own homes throughout Toowoomba and surrounding areas. You will travel across Dalby, Gatton, Warwick and nearby suburbs, delivering compassionate in-home care on an as-needed, on-call basis.

Role requires a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent, First Aid, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 45–60 minutes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured vehicle and willingness to travel 45–60 minutes.
• Experience supporting older adults to live independently at home.
• Australian working rights and eligibility for a Nationally Coordinated Police Check.
• COVID-19 vaccinations (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance to help clients maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home (e.g., vacuuming, laundry, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms).
• Provide person-centred care, companionship, personal care, meal preparation, mobility support to help clients stay independent.
• Use your own vehicle to visit clients across the region and support services in homes.
