Job summary

Feros Care is seeking an Aged Care Community Support Worker (Qualified) to join our Toowoomba region team. Casual or permanent part-time hours involve travelling to client homes, providing personal care, meal prep and domestic assistance.

You will need a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or IS, First Aid, and a valid driver's licence with the ability to pass a Police Check. Not-for-profit salary packaging and travel reimbursement are included.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent (with transcripts).
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Australian working rights and ability to pass a National Police Check.
• Driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Willingness to travel up to 45–60 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, meal prep, mobility support and daily assistance to maintain wellbeing.
• Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and laundry.
• Travel across Toowoomba region to support clients in their homes.
• Support clients to live independently and stay connected.

Aged Care Community Support Worker (Qualified)

Employment Type: Casual or Permanent Part-Time role with up to 40 guaranteed hours per fortnight, plus opportunities for additional hours after probation
Remuneration: $36.66/hour (PPT)/ $45.46/hour (Casual) + Super + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging to help maximise your take‑home pay + $1.05/km travel reimbursement
Location: Toowoomba area and surrounding suburbs including Gatton and WarwickAvailability: Minimum of 3 - 4 weekdays between 7:00am and 7:00pm

How You'll Support Our Clients

• Build meaningful connections with clients through genuine companionship and person-centred care, providing personal care, meal preparation, mobility support and everyday assistance to help maintain their wellbeing, dignity, independence and quality of life.
• Help keep clients' homes clean, safe and comfortable by providing domestic assistance. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, changing bed linen, cleaning kitchens & bathrooms, and general household tidying.
• Enjoy the freedom and variety of a community-based role, using your own vehicle to support clients in their homes across the region.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• A valid driver's licence, reliable and insured vehicle, and a willingness to travel up to 45-60 minutes across your local community
• Experience supporting older adults to live independently and confidently in their own homes
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent (with transcripts) and current First Aid Certificate
• Australian working rights, and ability to complete a Nationally Coordinated Police Check
• COVID-19 vaccinations (highly desirable)
