Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking Casual Support Workers in NSW to assist consumers to live independently at home. Roles cover Berridale, Cooma or Jindabyne with up to 38 hours per week, including weekends.

Package: $37.93 per hour plus 12% Super. Multiple roles exist to support the Berridale, Jindabyne and Cooma communities, with responsibilities centered on person-centered care and confidentiality.

Formación

• Minimum qualification in Certificate 3 in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Proven commitment to delivering high-level support services.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to undertake basic administrative duties including case notes.
• Current National Criminal History Check (not less than six months old).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current NDIS Worker’s screening Check.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current Class C driver’s licence.
• Access to own vehicle for service delivery (comprehensive insurance).

Responsabilidades

• Provide a range of support services to consumers as per their Support Plan.
• Provide feedback to the Supervisor on outcomes, incidents or observations.
• Comply with Policies, Procedures and funding standards.
• Observe consumer and carer confidentiality and privacy.
• Contribute to council performance with professional conduct and accountability.
• Contribute to a safe workplace and comply with WHS requirements.
