Job summary

Pearl Home Care Gippsland / Cardinia in Traralgon VIC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Experienced Aged Care Worker and Domestic Care to join our team on a casual basis. You will support elderly and disabled clients with daily living activities and companionship.

Join a friendly care team, follow safety and quality standards, document progress, and help clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support
• Experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably in a community-based setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing the highest standard of care

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, grooming, and meal preparation
• Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
• Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in their condition
• Adhering to all safety and quality standards in the delivery of care
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
