Job summary

Moree Care is a community-based, not-for-profit with offices in Mungindi and Moree. We support older people and younger people with disability, and their carers, helping them live as independently as possible in the community through Aged Care, Meals on Wheels, NDIS services and Community Transport.

We have casual roles with flexible hours (about 20–30 per week) including group and individual social support, personal care and domestic assistance.

Qualifications

• A current full Drivers Licence
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencing employment
• NDIS Worker Check before commencement
• Excellent people skills and a commitment to person-centred service delivery
• An understanding of the needs of older people, people with a disability and their carers
• An ability to work with culturally diverse groups
• An ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to innovation and service improvement
• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, or equivalent qualification or lived experience of caring and a willingness to enroll in an appropriate course within 3 months of commencing work
