Job summary

Conexson is seeking experienced Cooks for casual roles in Residential Aged Care facilities across Bundaberg. Enjoy flexible shifts, with weekly pay and access to a dedicated shift portal. Ideal candidates have relevant cookery certification, food safety credentials, and a passion for elder care.

Roles require at least 1 year in large-scale catering, strong hygiene knowledge, and excellent communication. Australian working rights are essential; police check or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

Experience cooking in large-scale catering and aged care preferred.
High hygiene standards and knowledge of infection control principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a quality range of meals with attention to dietary requirements of residents.
Ensure tasks are performed in line with approved procedures and quality standards.
Work both collaboratively and independently to deliver high-quality food service.
Liaise with suppliers and supervisors about kitchen requirements.
Maintain accurate kitchen records and assist with stock control.
Demonstrate experience and knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and infection control principles.
