The Caseload Midwife provides midwifery services within the rural/remote health service setting. The Caseload Midwife demonstrates competence in the provision of midwifery care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparations, relevant legislation and context of care.
The Caseload Midwife works in partnership with women to give necessary support, care and advice during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period to conduct births and provide newborn care.
