Job summary

Darling Downs Hospital & Health Service in Dalby, QLD, is seeking a Clinical Midwife Caseload – First Nations to walk with women and families, delivering holistic, culturally safe care and continuity of care across the maternity journey.

You will collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, build long‑term relationships, and contribute to innovative maternity care while advancing your professional growth within a supportive regional healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Midwife in Australia.
  • Strong clinical capability and a commitment to safe, woman-centred care.
  • Ability to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, families and communities.
  • Collaborative communication skills across diverse teams and settings.
  • Experience in continuity of care or caseload midwifery and/or postgraduate qualifications relevant to maternity services.
