Job summary

SDN Children’s Services is a not-for-profit village supporting children and families with over 115 years of experience. The Case Worker role involves working with 8–11 families, maintaining face-to-face contact and guiding families to progress on their goals within a child-protection informed framework.

The role sits in the Family Preservation team, offering hybrid work arrangements and opportunities for professional development and impactful practice.

Qualifications

• University qualifications in social work or equivalent.
• Experience in the community services or child and family sector.
• Strong commitment to child-focused practice with understanding of child protection, legislation, and risk management.
• Experience working with vulnerable and diverse children and families.
• Empathetic, supportive, and able to make sound judgments to protect children's rights and wellbeing.
• Willingness to learn and apply feedback to improve clinical practice.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence.

The role

Who you are

• University qualifications in social work or equivalent
• Experience in the community services or child and family sector
