Job summary

Joondalup Resort, part of TenGolf Group, seeks an experienced Cart Room Supervisor to lead the Cart Room operations and deliver outstanding golf services for members, guests and corporate clients. Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage the Cart Room team, coordinate events and ensure a high standard of presentation, safety and service.

This is a full-time role with a Tuesday–Saturday roster and opportunities for career development within Western

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Cart Room Supervisor to lead our Cart Room operations and help deliver exceptional experiences for our members, guests and corporate clients.

The Role

Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, the Cart Room Supervisor plays a key operational role responsible for the day-to-day management of the Cart Room and the delivery of outstanding golf services across the facility. You will lead the Cart Room team, oversee daily operations, coordinate golf events and corporate groups, and ensure a consistently high standard of presentation, service and customer experience.

This is a full-time position, with a roster typically worked Tuesday to Saturday.

Day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the Cart Room.
• Leading, supervising and supporting the Cart Room team.
• Managing rosters, payroll processing, leave requests and shift scheduling.
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Coordinating golf days, tournaments, corporate groups and special events.
• Managing event setup and pack down requirements.
• Attending and contributing to golf event planning meetings.
• Ensuring all equipment, supplies and event requirements are prepared and available.
• Assisting with registration, bag drop and event scoring when required.
• Managing fleet carts, hire clubs, driving range facilities and related equipment.
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance requirements with internal teams and external providers.
• Monitoring golf course operations, pace of play and practice facilities.
• Liaising with Golf Operations, Greenkeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensuring members and guests follow course and facility guidelines.
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards, maintenance issues and operational concerns.
• Contributing to continuous improvements in customer service and operational efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in golf operations, golf services, sports venue operations or a similar customer-facing leadership role.
• Sound knowledge of golf course operations and golf etiquette.
• Experience leading, supervising or coordinating staff.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience with rostering, payroll processes or team scheduling.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confidence using computer systems.
• The ability to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to work independent\w while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Flexibility to support golf events, tournaments and operational requirements as needed.
