Job summary

HIA Apprentices is offering an Apprentice Carpenter role for dedicated individuals in the Coffs Harbour area and surrounding suburbs. This is a full-time pathway for 3rd and 4th year apprentices to learn on-site alongside experienced tradespeople and gain hands-on experience building structures.

You will develop core carpentry skills, safety practices, and industry knowledge, with support from a Field Officer and access to PPE and tools loan.

Qualifications

• Be reliable and committed to finishing the apprenticeship.
• Willing to obtain White Card before starting if not already held.
• Positive attitude, hardworking, and eager to learn on site.

Apprentice Carpenter – 3rd and 4th Years

This is a great opportunity for keen and reliable people, looking for a career pathway to become a qualified carpenter.

We have carpentry apprenticeships available in the Coffs Harbour area and surrounding suburbs of Macksville and Graftonfor an immediate start.

If the idea of working with your hands, building structures and working on construction sites appeals to you, a carpentry apprenticeship ticks all the right boxes. You will get the opportunity to work along side professional trades people and you will learn all aspects of your training and employment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE:

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport is preferable
• CI Card (white Card) or be willing to obtain prior to starting

You’ll receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.
