Job summary

HIA Apprentices seeks enthusiastic individuals for Apprentice Electrician – 3rd and 4th Years in the Coffs Harbour area. You will join a team working on electrical networks and systems on construction sites, with hands-on training from professional tradespeople.

Dedicated support from HIA Apprentices and PPE will be provided. A white card is required or obtainable before starting, and a driver’s license is preferred as travel to sites is common.

Qualifications

• Must be committed to finishing the apprenticeship and becoming a qualified electrician.
• Strong math foundation or willingness to learn mathematics relevant to electrical theory.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical networks and systems on construction sites.
• Learn under supervision of professional trades people and mentors.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE provided.

Apprentice Electrician – 3rd and 4th Years

We have electrical apprenticeships available in the Coffs Harbour area and surrounding suburbs of Grafton and Macksville.

You’ll receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.

Mathematics underpins key electrical theories and principles. Apprentices require a solid foundation in math such as Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
