Job summary

HIA Apprentices seeks keen individuals for a career pathway to become qualified carpenters. Carpentry apprenticeships are available in the South Perth area and Jarrahdale for an immediate start.

You will work alongside professional tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience and learning all aspects of training and employment.

We anticipate strong demand for junior apprentices, with support from a dedicated Field Officer and access to tools and PPE.

Qualifications

• Great attitude towards work and eagerness to learn.
• Self-motivated and proactive team player.
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Begin carpentry training on site and learn all aspects of the trade.
• Work with professional tradespeople on construction sites.
• Commit to completing the apprenticeship and becoming a qualified carpenter.
• Obtain or have CI Card (white Card) before starting if required.
