Job summary

RMWCON in Victoria is seeking 1 or more apprentice carpenters to join the busy team. Preference for 1st or 2nd year apprentices with some experience; suitable for a recent school leaver.

The role covers framing, lock up and fix, external cladding and decking, with learning from qualified tradespeople in a supportive environment. Based in the South East suburbs, this position requires a valid licence and reliable car to travel to sites; you'll be expected to demonstrate reliability, safety

Qualifications

• Eligible for apprenticeship: Australian citizen, permanent resident or full working rights.
• Prefer 1st or 2nd year with some experience; recent school leaver considered.
• Must have a licence and reliable car; basic hand tools knowledge.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn on site.

Responsibilities

• Join carpentry team and learn from qualified tradespeople.
• Assist with framing, lock up and fix, external cladding and decking.
• Travel to sites in Clyde, Cranbourne and Pakenham areas; maintain safety.

Job description

RMWCON has an opportunity for 1 or more apprentice carpenters to join the team.

Preferably 1st or 2nd years with some experience but open to other applications. This position would suit a recent school leaver.

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking.

Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive environment.

Working in the Sth East Suburbs, mainly Clyde, Cranbourne

Pakenham areas.

Must have a licence and reliable car

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Be reliable and punctual
• Very keen to learn
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
• Ability to get to and from work independently

Preferred but not essential:

• Driver licence & Own car
• A white card
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship
• Own tools
