Job summary

Nagra Homes and Construction in Burpengary, QLD is looking for an apprentice carpenter to join our team. You will learn across framing, lock up and fix, external cladding and decking while working with qualified tradespeople.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build practical carpentry skills in a busy residential construction environment, with mentorship and a pathway to full trade qualification. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and a positive, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Very keen to learn and develop carpentry skills.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Commitment and enthusiasm for carpentry.
• Ability to get to and from work independently.
• For apprenticeship/traineeship eligibility, Australian citizenship, permanent residency or full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Join the team and contribute to carpentry tasks across framing, lock up and fix, external cladding and decking.

Nagra homes and construction has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team.

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking.

Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive environment.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Be reliable and punctual

• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools

Preferred but not essential:

• Driver licence & Own car
• A white card
• Completed a pre-apprenticeship (optional)
