Job summary

Ultimate Work Solutions in Melbourne CBD and surrounds is seeking a fully qualified Maintenance Carpenter/Handyman to join our team. You’ll handle maintenance, repairs and project works on a variety of commercial and residential properties.

Requirements include a White Card, Police Check, current Driver’s Licence, and reliable, own tools and transport. This is a full‑time role (Mon-Fri 7am–3pm) with a fuel card provided for site travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance and/or construction in a commercial environment.
• Painting and plastering experience.
• Reliable with own tools and transport.
• White Card and current Police Check.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Able to work independently and manage time well.
• Comfortable using phone apps for task management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and project works on properties in Melbourne CBD & Surrounds.
• Plastering, patching and painting on various surfaces.
• General building maintenance and handyman works.
• Fire door repairs and compliance checks.
• Small to medium carpentry projects and defect rectification.

What You'll Be Doing:

You’ll be working directly with our Team leaders and team to carry out maintenance, repairs and project works on a variety of properties in and around Melbourne CBD & Surrounds.

Common tasks include:

• Plastering, patching and painting
• General building maintenance and handyman works
• Fire door repairs and compliance checks
• Small-medium carpentry projects and defect rectification

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in building maintenance and/or construction in a commercial environment
• Painting and plastering experience
• Reliable with your own tools and transport
• Strong attention to detail and work quality
• Able to work independently and manage time well
• Comfortable using phone app's for task management
• White Card
• Must have a Police Check and current Driver’s Licence
