McCormick Builders is a family-owned construction company providing public housing maintenance, small-scale renovations, and disability housing upgrade services across Melbourne's South East.

Based in Berwick, we pride ourselves on our strong team culture, reliability, and quality workmanship. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Carpenter with professional handyman skills to join our team.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands‑on role involving day-to-day maintenance and small upgrade works, including:

• General maintenance carpentry

• Kitchen and bathroom upgrades

• Lock changes

• Plaster and door replacement

• Basic wall tiling

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be:

• A qualified carpenter

• Hold a trade apprenticeship in carpentry

• Reliable, resilient, and professional

• Positive, flexible, and a strong team player

• Able to demonstrate a stable work history

• Have a consistent employment record demonstrating stable work history

• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites

You will need to supply your own basic power tools.
