GEE Homes Pty Ltd in Albion, QLD is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team on a full-time basis. You will construct, install and repair wooden structures and fixtures on residential and commercial projects using hand and power tools.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of carpentry experience, a trade certificate, and a solid knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 per year, superannuation contributions, career growth

Qualifications

Min. 2 years of carpentry experience.
Trade certificate or equivalent.
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and tools needed.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials.
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring, and trim.
Repair or replace damaged parts of structures.
Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols on-site.
Collaborate with team members, contractors, and subcontractors.
Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide progress updates.
