Job summary

Cowellys Constructions Pty Ltd in Queensland is hiring a full-time Carpenter to support residential and commercial projects. You will interpret plans, construct frameworks, and work to Australian building standards and WHS requirements.

We are seeking a trade-qualified carpenter with 2–3 years’ experience, capable of working independently, with a White Card, and a preferred valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant industry experience.
• White Card is mandatory; driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Construct, install, and repair frameworks, structures, and fittings.
• Perform formwork, framing, fix-outs, and general carpentry tasks.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Australian building standards and WHS requirements.
