Job summary

MacBild Group seeks a qualified full-time Carpenter to join our residential build team on the Gold Coast. You’ll work across the full build lifecycle—from frame through lock-up and fix-out—within a tight, capable crew.

Responsibilities include wall and roof framing, bearers and joists, lock-up stage tasks, fix-out and finishing carpentry, and reading plans. A strong focus on safety and quality is required to meet MacBild's standards.

Responsibilities

• Wall and roof framing, including setting out, plating and standing
• Structural work — bearers, joists, beams and subfloor
• Lock-up stage: windows, external doors, eaves, cladding and weatherproofing
• Fix-out and second fix: internal doors, architraves, skirting, hardware, cabinetry install and finishing carpentry
• Reading and working from plans, engineering details and specifications
• General site carpentry as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area in line with site safety requirements
• Working cooperatively with site supervisors, other trades and the wider project team
• Completing work to MacBild's quality standards
