Job summary

C&M Coolroom Services in Victoria is seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our team for the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of commercial coolrooms and freezer rooms across multiple sites. You will work both independently and with a team, hold a valid driver's licence, own tools and vehicle, and be prepared for overtime and weekend work.

This full-time role offers long-term security with an established company.

Qualifications

• Qualified Carpenter with at least 5 years' experience.
• Experience with panel installation is highly desirable.
• Sheet metal experience would be a bonus.
• Current Driver's Licence is essential.
• Forklift Licence and Scissor Lift Licence are advantageous.
• Must have full working rights in Australia.
• Own reliable vehicle and own tools are essential.

Qualified Carpenter - Commercial Coolroom & Freezer Installation

About Us

C&M Coolroom Services has been established for over 30 years and is a well-established business within the Commercial Coolroom and Freezer industry.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Carpenter to join our expanding team. This is a full-time position offering long-term job security and the opportunity to work across a variety of commercial projects and sites throughout Victoria.

About the Role

You will be involved in the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of commercial coolrooms, freezer rooms and insulated panel rooms at a range of sites, including supermarkets, food storage facilities and other commercial premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Construction and installation of commercial coolrooms and freezer rooms
• Installation of insulated panel rooms
• Repairs and maintenance of coolrooms and freezer rooms
• Working at various commercial sites throughout Victoria
• Working both independently and as part of a team
• Following workplace health and safety requirements
• Working overtime and weekends when required

Skills & Experience

• Qualified Carpenter with at least 5 years' experience
• Experience with panel installation is highly desirable

Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Saturday: 7:00am - 3:30pm on a rotating roster
• Overtime and weekend work will be required as needed
