Job summary

Clough Limited's SMP Carpenters role joins Project Ceres in Karratha on a 14:7 roster. You will construct, install and dismantle formwork for concrete pours, build temporary structures alongside skilled trades, and read drawings to accurately measure and assemble timber and metal structures.

Ideally you hold a Certificate III in Carpentry, Construction White Card and at least five years in industrial SMP environments.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
• Construction White Card, Working at Heights and HRWL EWP.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial or SMP construction environments.
• Ability to read technical drawings and confidently use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety requirements in high-risk work environments.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install and dismantle formwork for concrete pours, including bases, footings and foundations.
• Build temporary structures, scaffolding and supports for SMP works, working alongside boilermakers, riggers and other trades.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications, and accurately measure, cut and assemble timber and metal structures.
• Safely operate carpentry tools, machinery and equipment, including assisting with the lifting and positioning of materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while meeting all site safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Your role will include:

• Construct, install and dismantle formwork for concrete pours, including bases, footings and foundations
• Build temporary structures, scaffolding and supports for SMP works, working alongside boilermakers, riggers and other trades
