Job summary

Amana Living seeks a part-time Bus Driver to provide safe, compassionate transport for clients and carers in Perth. Shifts are Monday to Wednesday 8.30am–4.30pm (45.6 hours per fortnight). The role requires a MR licence with Passenger Transport Authority, First Aid/CPR, and police/NDIS clearances.

Expect routine vehicle checks, route planning, and teamwork. Applicants should have experience with vulnerable people, strong communication skills, and a patient, respectful approach to care.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable people, including dementia awareness.
• Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR cleared.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (emails, internet).
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Proven organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Amana Living clients and staff safely.
• Maintain safety and comfort of clients at all times.
• Ensure seat belts and mobility equipment are secure.
• Maintain bus cleanliness daily.
• Record daily pre-start and weekly vehicle checks.
