Job summary

John Paul College in Australia is seeking three Learning Assistants to join our Early Learning and Primary teams from January 2027. One role for Kindergarten, one for Prep, and one across Primary years.

You will work with classroom teachers to support learning, wellbeing and engagement in a warm, safe and inclusive environment. These positions are 12-month term contracts for 2027, with generous benefits under the JPC EBA and opportunities for professional development and study support.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Education Support (e.g., Certificate III or IV).
• Experience supporting children in a school or early learning setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers to implement learning programs and activities.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with routines, social development and inclusion.
