Job summary

Uniting in Sydney's Marrickville facility is seeking an experienced hospitality worker to provide catering services to residents in a timely manner, with Sunday to Tuesday AM shifts and every second Friday AM.

You will communicate with residents about their needs, promote clients' rights and privacy, and help continuously improve our service to deliver the best possible care. Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate 2 in Hospitality or Aged Care.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate 2 in Hospitality, Aged Care or an equivalent qualification.
• If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, we can help you get there.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of WH&S principles and risk management.
• Adaptable, empathetic and able to live Uniting’s values.

Responsibilities

• You’ll provide catering services to residents in a timely manner.
• Communicate with residents on their requirements and needs
• Promote the rights and privacy of our clients
• Work with continuous improvement of our service to ensure its the best it can be
