Job summary

Star Aviation is seeking a Cargo Duty Manager to lead day-to-day cargo terminal operations at Western Sydney (WSI). This role centers on shift-based oversight, people development and delivering high standards of service in a fast-paced environment.

You will drive safety, performance, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and terminal stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and exceptional outcomes for passengers and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in cargo, logistics or aviation operations.
• Demonstrated leadership capability in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience in warehouse or freight terminal operations.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo terminal operations on shift, including receipt, dispatch and storage of freight.
• Ensure compliance with aviation, regulatory and customer requirements for cargo handling.
• Manage performance across import, export and transfer freight activities.
• Achieve KPIs related to safety, service delivery, on-time performance and productivity.
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders and terminal stakeholders on day-of operations.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to improve performance and capability.
