Job summary

STAR AVIATION SERVICES in Luddenham, NSW, is looking for a dedicated Cargo Crew team member to support daily freight operations. In a fast‑paced environment, you’ll assist with the safe handling, movement, and processing of cargo while maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards.

You will perform basic freight handling, help load and unload freight, operate non‑airside equipment, and support higher‑level operators in daily operations, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC.
• Ability to obtain and hold an ADA.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ground handling knowledge is ideal.
• Working understanding of the aviation industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to operate under schedule pressures.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic freight handling and operational tasks
• Assist in loading, unloading, and movement of freight
• Operate non-airside equipment (non-aircraft AAF only)
• Support higher-level operators in daily operations
• Participate in training and development programs
• Use basic communication and computer systems
