Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Carer in Sydney to provide compassionate personal care in line with resident plans. You will support daily living with kindness and respect, ensuring comfort and safety for each resident.

You will collaborate with families and the care team to promote wellbeing, independence, and engagement in preferred activities while adhering to care plans and participating in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Australian Working Rights confirmed
• Qualifications in individual care or related work experience beneficial
• Police Check or NDIS check required prior to starting

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents and their families as per care plans
• Deliver quality, timely care reflecting residents' needs and plans
• Encourage wellbeing and independence through participation in activities
• Promote person-centred care, respecting individual goals and preferences
• Participate in risk management and quality improvement activities
• Build strong teamwork to achieve positive resident outcomes

$32.60 - $36.56 + 12% Super + Not-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per

Australian Working Rights

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
