Job summary

Department of Education Victoria in Doncaster, Melbourne, is seeking a VM Coordination/Careers & Pathways Advisor (Ed Support) at Level 1-Range 3 for a fixed-term, 0.60 FTE position. Qualifications

• SC1 Demonstrated highly developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• SC2 Demonstrated ability to undertake individual careers counselling for students and families.
• SC3 Demonstrated knowledge and experience of VET/SWL/SBATs and work experience programs.
• SC4 Demonstrated ability to lead school pathways and transition planning across sub-schools.
• SC5 Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build productive relationships with students, families, colleagues, industry and tertiary partners.

Responsibilities

• VM Careers & Pathways Coordination.
• Collaboration with HEADSTART program coordinators, and families.
• Whole School Careers Education, Course Counselling & Work Experience.
• Assist with Year 11 and Year 12 VM pathway interviews and planning for post-secondary opportunities.
• Follow up students to complete the application process and enrolments of VET students to external RTOs.
• Assist with delivery of workplace learning and support transition processes into, within and beyond the college.
