Job summary

Moriah College in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs seeks an experienced Career and Tertiary Pathways and VET Coordinator to support students in Years 10–12 as they navigate options beyond school. The role provides individual counselling, coordinates TVET courses with TAFE and RTOs, assists with university applications, scholarships and entry requirements, and runs careers events and work experience placements.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in careers counselling, career development or education.
• Experience in careers education, tertiary pathway advising or student counselling.
• Strong knowledge of university admissions and vocational education options.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual careers counselling and pathway guidance to Years 10–12.
• Support students with UAC, early entry, guaranteed entry and equity pathways.
• Advise on university options, entry requirements, scholarships and application processes.
• Support international university applications (e.g., Common App, UCAS).
• Coordinate TVET courses including enrolments, timetabling and attendance.
• Coordinate careers and tertiary events and alumni panels.
• Administer and maintain accurate student records and outcomes.
• Coordinate Year 10 work experience placements and employer engagement.
