Qualifications

• Experience in providing one-to-one support or coaching and positively influencing other people’s development.
• Experience in employment and skills sector and delivering to targets, quality standards, and compliance.
• Experience using motivational and action planning techniques to progress participants into sustainable work.
• Empathy to engage with diverse people and the confidence to challenge when needed.
• Ability to handle complex cases with monthly targets to achieve.
• Organised with good time management to meet monthly targets.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate and inspire others.
• Influencing approach to align others with your viewpoint.
• Good understanding of local/regional labour market.
• Understanding recruitment and selection processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, support and guidance using assessments and tailored support plans.
• Coach participants face to face and deliver employability sessions, interview skills, job search methods and confidence rebuilding.
• Maintain participant records and regular contact to keep participants motivated throughout the programme.
• Use diagnostic screening, assessments and skills analysis to guide participants to suitable employment options.
• Familiar with local area labour market, training opportunities and support agencies; liaise with local employers.
