Job summary

Workskil Australia is seeking a motivated Employment Coach to support clients in achieving their goals. The role is full-time, fixed term until January 2027 and based at our Elizabeth site.

You'll be supported by a team of coaches, mentors and counsellors and will help customers prepare resumes, find opportunities and access housing, mental health and financial counselling. The position includes comprehensive training, probation, and the chance to gain a Certificate IV in Community Services.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs.
• Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Meeting a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Assisting diverse customers in overcoming personal and professional challenges
• Delivering coaching to improve employability skills, confidence and career planning
• Preparing quality resumes, cover letters and supporting the job application process
• Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf
• Referring customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health and financial counselling
• Documenting customer information and progress accurately within Workskil Australia and Government systems
