The BUSY School in Gosford is seeking an Employment Pathways Officer & Career Education Teacher to lead career education and strengthen industry connections for young people transitioning from school. You will provide personalised guidance, develop pathway plans, and link students to work experiences, apprenticeships and further education opportunities.

You will establish relationships with employers, training providers and community partners to support positive post-school outcomes.

Qualifications

• Student-centred educator who can blend teaching with industry engagement.
• Teaching qualification suitable for secondary education and NESA accreditation.
• NSW Working With Children Check clearance and driver's licence.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging career education, employability and work-readiness programs.
• Provide individual career guidance and pathway planning for students.
• Coordinate work experience, workplace learning and industry exposure activities.
• Support school-based apprenticeships and vocational pathways.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers, training providers and community partners.
• Collaborate with teaching, wellbeing and leadership teams to support student outcomes.
• Monitor pathway outcomes and support successful post-school transitions.
