Endeavour Foundation in Cairns is seeking a Career & Workplace Support Specialist to help people with intellectual disability maintain sustainable employment by delivering tailored post-placement support and partnering with employers to create inclusive, thriving workplaces.

You will work with job seekers and employers to design solutions that reduce turnover, improve retention, and support long-term employment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with intellectual disability in employment, education, or community services.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to deliver customer-centric, outcome-focused support.
• Commercial acumen and understanding of workforce planning and diversity initiatives.
• Qualifications or experience in employment services, training, or community development (highly desirable).

About the Role

As a Career & Workplace Support Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in helping people with intellectual disability maintain sustainable employment by providing tailored post-placement support and partnering with employers to create inclusive, thriving workplaces.

You’ll work closely with both job seekers and employers to design and deliver solutions that reduce turnover, improve retention, and support successful long-term employment outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide tailored support to job seekers and employers to ensure sustainable employment outcomes.

Identify and implement interventions that reduce employment risks and enhance inclusion.
