Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Care Worker to join the At Home Services team in Junee and surrounds. You will visit clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting independent living while travelling between client locations.

This permanent part-time role offers up to 30 hours per fortnight with Friday availability. You will receive orientation, supervision, and access to development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.

• Assist with household tasks and personal care as needed.

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients across Junee and surrounds you will be required to travel between multiple client locations throughout these service areas as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

Permanent Part-time (up to 30 hours per fortnight) opportunity with Friday availability required.

• Earn $34.42/hr (unqualified) - $36.23/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients

What You'll Bring

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email. You have a caring nature, strong patience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone's day.
