Job summary

BaptistCare in Parkes, NSW, is seeking an experienced Care Team Manager to lead the clinical care operations at the Niola Centre. You will guide a team of nurses and care staff to deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centered care daily.

In this senior role, you will oversee clinical practices, mentor staff, support complex needs, and drive continuous improvement across the service, combining clinical expertise with strong people leadership for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and Australian work rights.
• 3–5 years in aged care or complex clinical settings with leadership experience.
• Experience leading and developing clinical teams and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical care operations at Niola Centre, Parkes and oversee care quality.
• Mentor and develop nursing and care staff; manage complex care needs.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure resident wellbeing and safety.

About the role

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Care Team Manager to lead the clinical care operations at our Niola Centre in Parkes. In this key leadership role, you will guide and support a dedicated team of nurses and care staff, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care every day.

You will oversee clinical practices, mentor and develop staff, support complex care needs, and drive continuous improvement across the service. This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with strong people leadership to make a meaningful impact on residents, families and your team.

This role will be offered full time - Monday - Friday shifts.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualifications in Management, dementia, Gerontology, or Training and Assessment.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred).

About You

You are an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for leading others and delivering high-quality aged care. You bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Three to five years’ experience in aged care or complex clinical environments
• Proven experience leading and developing clinical teams
• Strong understanding of aged care standards, clinical governance and best practice
• Confidence in managing complex care needs and supporting clinical decision‑making
• Commitment to continuous improvement, quality outcomes and resident wellbeing
• Infection Prevention & Control qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  

Postgraduate qualifications in management, gerontology or training and assessment are highly regarded.

Successful candidates will undergo background checks including police, reference, and medical screening as applicable.
