Job summary

Bolton Clarke in Hervey Bay and Maryborough is seeking a Care Services Assistant to support dining and nutrition for residents. The role focuses on meal preparation, service, and enhancing the dining experience in a person-centred approach. You will work with a caring team to respect resident choices and comfort.

The position is casual/part-time with shift flexibility, and requires a police check/NDIS check, with opportunities for development and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Compassionate and caring attitude.
• Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded).
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Valid working rights in Australia; able to obtain police/NDIS checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, delivery, and serving of resident meals.
• Support residents with meal choices and dietary preferences.
• Prepare and maintain dining areas to meet resident needs and comply with Food Safety Plan.
• Provide social and emotional support during mealtimes with empathy and respect.
