Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) Merrylands facility is seeking 2X Part Time Care Service Employees to cover AM, PM, and Night shifts across the week in NSW. Immediate starts preferred for 1400-2100, and 2145-0700 shifts with various fortnight totals.

You will assist residents with personal care, meals, and activity engagement, while supporting care planning and documentation in a not-for-profit aged care environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support.
• Full time work rights - NO STUDENT VISA.
• Minimum 12 months experience working in an Aged Care Facility.
• Ability to set and maintain high standards in the provision of quality care and support services.
• Ability to provide quality care and support to frail aged people.
• Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Providers.

The Role:

Our Merrylands facility (NSW) is seeking 2X Part Time Care Service Employees to work across AM, PM and Night shifts throughout the week.

Vacant Positions available with immediate start preferred:

• 1400-2100hrs, Wednesday-Friday (3 shifts per week, 39 hours per fortnight)


• 2145-0700hrs, Monday-Wednesday (3 shifts per week, 52.5 hours per fortnight)

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting residents with personal care including showering


• Supporting residents with meals


• Contributing to care planning with registered staff


• Documenting care and services provided to residents


• Engaging residents in meaningful activities
