Opal HealthCare’s Surrey Hills Gardens Care Community in Surrey Hills, near Melbourne, seeks a Care Manager to lead clinical care and a high-performing team. You will partner with the GM and regional teams to deliver safe, person-centred care under Aged Care Act 2024 and AN-ACC standards.

The role balances governance, workforce capability, and operational performance, within a supportive, scale-enabled national provider.

• RN with AHPRA registration (minimum 3 years)

Care Manager - Surrey Hills Care Community

We are currently seeking a Care Manager to join our leadership team, working in close partnership with the General Manager and Regional Clinical & Operations Teams to deliver exceptional clinical care and lead high-performing teams.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the clinical and care workforce to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care aligned to the Aged Care Act 2024, Aged Care Quality Standards, and AN-ACC requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing clinical governance, workforce capability, and operational performance.

Set on one and a half acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in Surrey Hills, just 11km east of Melbourne’s CBD, Surrey Hills Gardens Care Community (formerly BlueCross Broughtonlea) offers a cosmopolitan lifestyle with the warmth and comfort of home. About You

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (minimum 3 years)
• Demonstrated experience leading clinical teams in residential aged care
• An excellent understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC
• Ability to lead change, manage risk, and improve outcomes
• A visible, values-led leader who is a natural mentor with a passion for building high-performing teams
