Job summary

Churches of Christ in Ingham, North Queensland, is seeking an experienced RN to step into Care Manager leadership at a 50-bed residential aged care service. This permanent role offers Monday to Friday hours with no on-call, a competitive hourly rate, and relocation assistance including accommodation for eligible candidates.

You will provide clinical leadership, governance and mentoring to the care team, while supporting residents and families with quality, person-centred care and robust care

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.
• Experience in residential aged care preferred.
• Ability to lead clinical governance, care planning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across the service.
• Oversee high-quality, person-centred resident care.
• Ensure governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Lead care planning and clinical oversight, including AN-ACC documentation.
• Mentor and support nursing and care teams to achieve positive resident outcomes.

Step into care management with an experienced Service Manager

Are you a Care Manager but looking for a change? Or perhaps you're a Senior RN, Clinical Lead, Clinical Nurse Consultant or experienced Registered Nurse ready to step into Care Management?

Palms Aged Care Service in Ingham, North Queensland, is looking for an experienced RN to provide clinical leadership across our 50-bed residential aged care service.

This is an opportunity to take the next step in your career while working alongside an experienced Service Manager and supportive Seniors Living leadership team.

Importantly, this is a Monday to Friday role with no on-call requirement.

About the role

As Care Manager, you will provide clinical leadership across Palms, supporting:

• High-quality, person-centred resident care
• Clinical governance, compliance and continuous improvement
• Care planning and clinical oversight
• AN-ACC and clinical documentation
• Mentoring and supporting the nursing and care team
• Positive outcomes for residents, families and the broader service

About you

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
• Valid Australian working rights
• Hold a current National Police Check (or ability to acquire)
• Strong communication, clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Experience mentoring, leading or supporting other nurses
• A commitment to quality, compliance and person-centred care
• Confidence to step into a broader clinical leadership role
• Residential aged care experience is highly regarded, but we're open to experienced acute-care nurses with strong leadership capability
